Introduction
The Institute of East Asian Humanities and Social Sciences (IEAHS) was founded in October 2018 at Chinese Culture University as an organization conducting research and promoting intellectual collaboration and academic exchange at an international scale. It will serve as an interface that connects knowledge across disciplinary boundaries and encourages thinking outside the established paradigm. IEAHS is built upon the vision to establish dialogues between the humanities and social sciences, gather scholars from different frontiers, and foster research talents of the next generation. Our work will be conducted across universities, nations, and academic fields in the hope of establishing new modes of collaboration in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary nature.
